Biography

Dr. Hendar is an Associate Professor of Management Science and a senior researcher at the Dept. of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA), Semarang, Indonesia. He was born in Brebes, 1963, and started his career in UNTAG 1945 Semarang as a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty. He has graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 (UNTAG), Semarang, Indonesia in 1988 and continued his Master Degree in Dept. of Management, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Padjajaran (UNPAD), Indonesia in 1995. Then, he got his Doctoral Degree in Dept. of Management, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang, Indonesia in 2017 with cum laude.

In the faculty, Dr. Hendar is trusted to be Vice-dean for academic affairs since 2018 up to now. Besides his leadership role in the faculty, he successfully published his articles in many reputable (international and national) journals. He also received many awards in the fields of research, teaching, and community service. His teaching interest and research area are in Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship, and Cooperative Management. Also, in the field of community service, he has conducted some programs nationally and internationally.
